H1N1 Vaccine Available in Anoka and St. Francis Stores
Date: December 23, 2009 (All day)
As part of national public health efforts, Goodrich Pharmacy St Francis and Anoka are providing novel influenza H1N1 shots. The Anoka and St Francis stores are taking appointments for injectable H1N1 vaccine.
St Francis will also be providing nasal Flumist H1N1 vaccines when the state ships our supply. As the only pharmacy enrolled in the Minnesota Vaccine for Children program, St Francis will be holding vaccine clinics with a nurse after the holidays. Please watch for further postings on the website and in the store.
Vaccination with the novel H1N1 strain is a safe, highly effective way to prevent infection. The main strains of flu have been H1N1, but the regular flu season usually starts in Minnesota by January. H1N1 influenza vaccine and the regular influenza vaccine can be given at the same appointment if you have not received your regular flu shot yet.
