Unwanted Medication Take Back Event at the Goodrich St. Francis Pharmacy
Date: May 17, 2008 - 10:00am - 2:00pm
Goodrich Pharmacy and The St Francis Police Department will be holding an unwanted medication take back event May 17, 2008 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Goodrich Pharmacy St Francis, located inside County Market.
Please bring items in their original containers if possible. All patient information will be removed from the bottles to comply with privacy laws. We are not able to take back syringes at this event. All medications collected will be removed for destruction after the event by the police department or our contracted hazardous waste hauler. This is a great chance to clean out old, expired or unneeded medications during your spring cleaning!
If you are unable to attend, or would like more information on medication disposal, please visit Minnesota Pollution Control's website. They provide an excellent fact sheet (link listed below) that shows the steps to safely dispose of unwanted medications in your home when necessary.

**Rescheduled** Flu Shot Clinic at the St. Francis Goodrich Pharmacy
Date: December 17, 2007 - 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Please note the date has changed! Goodrich Pharmacy will be offering another flu shot clinic on Monday afternoon, December 17 from 4PM to 7PM. All ages are welcome, and a nurse will provide vaccination for children 6 months and up. We do have thimerosal free vaccine for children ages 6 to 35 months, and for older children upon request. We do provide documentation for you to share with your clinic. If your child is less than 9 years old, and has never received the flu vaccine, they will need a second shot given 4 weeks later to build full immunity.
We are able to bill Medica, Medicare, Humana, and Health Partners. Unfortunately we cannot bill Medicare if you have UCARE or Unicare insurance.
